Welcome to our home!
Our grandmothers father drove trains and loved plants and nature. In 1923 he bought a piece of land where there was nothing but trees just north of Älmhult. There he started to build one house for each of his five children and at the same time he created a park with exotic trees and plants, goldfish and pathways. The goldfish are long gone but this is still our little bit of paradise!
Some of these houses are now owned by us, Elisabet and Tobias Ekenstam. Two of them are for rent.

Our Houses
Gullranda
The house is located 15 meters from our private beach. On the large wonderful terrace you can barbecue and enjoy the sunset from a sunbed.
Grindstugan
The house is located 60 meters from our private beach. Here the forest is nearby and it is nice and quiet.
Boats and fishing
A lot of our guests come to us to go fishing. The lake is called Möckeln and there is plenty of pike-perch which is a wonderful nice fish to eat. A license is required and we are happy to help you buy it. Please note that fishing for pike-perch is not allowed during the month of May.
We have 3 boats that we rent. We also have an electric motor with a battery for rent.
